This dissertation, on the one hand, aims to clarify the rela- tion between later Heidegger and Derrida; on the other hand, to deal with the debate about hermeneutics and deconstruction by way of later Heidegger''s viewpoint of language. "Language is the house of Being." ── Heidegger''s famous word── marks the privilege of language and the critique of traditional conception of subject. From the standpoint, decons- truction and philosophical hermeneutics take their own processive development, especially grmmatalogy founded by Derrida can be seen as transformation of later Heidegger in terms of time."language" thus has become the problematic. Our theses are as follows: First, along with rethinking the lost experience of Being from language by Heidegger, we will try to show how the movement of " archi- writing" can be possible under the dominance of the meta- physics of presence. Second, under the influence of Heidegger, Derrida supposed that the differential movement of language is not wholly contro- able by conciousness, on the contrary, consiousness have been open to subconciousness, even the effects of it. Finally, we wish to clarify opposite interpretations about Heidegger from Gadamer and Derrida. On the basis of it, judging their own positions to explicate why the former belongs to so called "the right Heideggerian", and the latter "the left Heide- ggerian".
