The experimental items included(1) The effects of aeration, innoculum, initial substrate coccentration and initial pH value on the production of L-sorbose in batch culture. (2)Im- mobilization of living cells in different calcium alginate con- centration gels. (3) The investigation of continuous operation using an immobilized packed-bed bioreactor. Based on substrate inhibition effects, a kinetic model for both bacterial growth and product formation was proposed. D-sorbitol concentration more than 8% showed inhibition effects on both cell growth and L-sorbose production. The immobolized bacterial systems in both entrapment and adsorption were proved to be more efficient than suspension culture. Yang, Fan Chiang 楊芳鏘 1993 學位論文 ; thesis 132 zh-TW
