碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 營建工程技術學系 === 81 === To improve performance of construction project under the administration of Taipei City Government, this thesis proposes a systematic approach for supervision practice. There are four issues concerning construction supervision and develops evaluat- ion major parts in this research. The first part studies theoretical criteria for good supervision practice. The second part presents sureying results for surrent supercision practice of department belong to Taipei City Government. The third part suggests principles for building better supercisiory system that may be able to ensure better project performance. Many deficien- cies of surrent supervision practice have been pinpointes in this study. Suggestions including bidder prequalification, construct- ion process evaluation and an management in obtaining better project performance.
