It sets up the long term goal for the mid-term and long term trunk network structure, so that the future expansion of the trunk network can satisfy the sysetm operational security requirement, reliability, and economy in the future. The thesis applies the method of sensitivity factors on the planning of reactive power. First, it applies voltage sensitivity factor to perform the optimal planning of reactive power compensation so that all bus voltages can be regulated to within their limits under the least cost. Then, the power flow factor are used to estimate more precisely and quickly the apparent power flow of the remaining transmission lines under contingency cases. The last part applies the reactive power loss factors to analyze the planned-system tap ratio positions of transformers.
