Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 機械工程研究所 === 81 === The experiment investigates the filling of material to the dies subjected to different loads and the defects occurring in workpiece in the process of flashless closed-die hot forging which is expected to form a near net shape product . It is found if the shape of the product is axial symmetry . That the formming process is a combination of extrusion and upsetting , which can be approximated by a simple model . Under differernt forging conditions , the dimension of workpiece is mainly affected by thermal expansion . The results indicated that the preform in the finishing dies is not allowed to counterflow , which will cause defect in the final products .
