Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 機械工程研究所 === 81 === The present study is aimed at theoretically analyzing and
numerically simulating the flow field about a sabot-projectile
at the moment of shot ejection. For the convenience of
theoretical analysis ,the flow field is first divided into four
regions according to their specific features .That is (1)
conical flow , (2)supersonic layer , (3) transonic region ,and
(4)afterbody . Physical and mathematical models are then
established respectively for each region . Numerical
calculations based on the .lambda. scheme are finally employed
to simulate the flow field . Physically reasonable results ,
such as constant Mach lines , streamlines ,and pressure
distributions , are obtained . Hopefully ,the aerodynamic data
provided herein are useful for the analysis and design of the
sabot-projectile .
