It is the extra causal structure that permits the c-command violation between an anaphor and its antecedent displayed in sentences with psychological causative-transitives. The discussion also leads to some predictions that the lexical decomposition analysis allows certain generalizations to be made across a large number of lexical verbs of similar semantic types.
