碩士 === 國立清華大學 === 物理研究所 === 81 === In this thesis, we review the calculations of the spontaneous magnetization of Ising model on generalized checkerboard lattice. We have calculated exactly the spontaneous magnetization of the two-dimensional Ising model on a particular case of the Utiyama lattice. We use the star- triangle transformation and the decoration transformation to transform the original Utiyama lattice into a 4-8 lattice. Our result includes the square,triangular,honeycomb and 4-8 lattices as special cases.
