Numerous studies have examined the reasons why nurses leave their jobs. And the methods these studies used had frequently relied upon bivariate correlation or multivate techniques. However, many of the articles published report conflicting findings or low values for explained variance(R square). Despite the voluminous literature discussing why nurses leave their job, turnover still remains poorly understood. The purpose of this thesis is to try to understand the underlying structure of hospital administration system which causes the staff turnover among dynamics model for the turnover of hospital nurses. Hospital administrators and directors of nursing used to blame outside circumstances for their problems. The results of computer simulation based on the nursing turnover model show the main causes of nursing turnover problem are coming from the mental models of hospital management.
