the main factor of all communication network. In order to keep
up the transportation normally,then we must control the
circumstances of bridge firstly. The Railway Administration
entrusted this Institute to set up a system for bridge
instrumentation at Hsin Toufen which can get the displacements、
strains、slants etc. numerals automatically, and can record
related data for a long time with which we can analysis the
bridge''s future behavior and safty. To operate this
instrumentation system need special skills and experiences
highly,so the administrators do not adequate for this job.
Besides,because this system emphasizes on expertise and
experience,so we can apply Expert System to change a part of
the instrumentation knowledge for knowledge base which can be
used by the man with little conception in this field. The
objective of this research is to set up a system for non-
experts which have the effects to train administrators for
partly skills of experts.
