process in the last decade. Accompany with these successes,
materials which are choosed to be use in architecture have also
been improved in many ways. Amony all these new materials
,stone, has been choosen as the most likely and important
material in the modern high-rise buildings'' exterial walls
in Taiwan recently. However, people began to use stone as
the exterial wall''s material does not for a long time. Thus,
there are still lots of difficulties such as varies of
construction standsrds, systems, and varies oponions in
using this kind of new stone materials during the practical
processes .Even we can produce and provide the best quality of
stone mat- erials around the whole world, we still face
many problems in the real working processes. In order to
found a better met- hod in impro- ving the real working
processes, we try to not only begine a series of research to
define and solve these problems but also set a series of
construction standsrds and managements to imp- rove the whole
enviroment. Below are three main sections to illustrate the
whole resea- rches: PARTⅠ: A review of the present datas and
references. Chapter 2 Basic knowledge of the stone
exterial wall''s working processes. Chapter 3 A study of
the stone exterial wall--the most likely ways. PARTⅡ: An
analysis and investigation of the present condition. Chapter 4
An investigation of the stone exterial walls at the present
condition. Chapter 5 An analysis and study of these
investigation''s results. PARTⅢ: Set the standards. Chapter 6
A study of the working standards and manage- ments of the
stone exterial wall.
