Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 交通管理(科學)學系 === 81 === The disaggregate choice models that took threshold into consideration can be separated into two groups. One assumed that thresholds were in the form of acceptable level. The other assumed they were in the form of indifference level. In the literature, the acceptable threshold models were able to deal with multi-choice problems, while the indifference threshold models were generally dealing with binary choice problems. This research tried to build threshold of indifference models that were able to deal with multi-choice problems. The level of indifference threshold were expressed as both utility(attribute) ratio and part of utility( attribute). The effect of travel distance on the level of indifference threshold were investigated. Using stated preference data collected in the Taiwan area for the intercity travel, models with multinomial logit form were estimated. The mojor findings were: 1.The explanatory abilities of all indifference threshold models were better than those of traditional multinomial logit models. 2.The level of indifference threshold would tend to increase following the increase of travel distance. 3.The forms (ratio or constant) of indifference threshold did not have significant effect on results. 4.The level of indifference threshold were in the range of 20%-30% of utility.
