Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 森林學系 === 81 === In the paper,the data of nature reserve of Schima superba in the Huisun Experimental Forest Station were used to study. GIS were used to set up the site data base for delicate rare plants, Schima superba. The site data base built was based on physi- ographic factors of environment hierarchical system and the syn- thetic environment index derived from the digital terrain model (DTM). GENAMAP are used to integrate the attributes of standing tree with topographical spatial data. The site data base is called Ecological Information System (EIS). EIS is easy to query the attribute and spatial data of individual tree. The results were showed as following:1. Elevation is the key factor in environmental mechanism of schima. 2. The ecological optimum are elevation 1000-1050m , slope 0-20%, aspect 270-315 degree (westnorth ),moisture gradient class index 10, whole light sky space (WLS) 40-70%; The study could be regarded as a reference on establishing the ecological data base of natural resorce.
