The methods were to select 36 subjects who had the permanent natural dentition without any dental restoration, Angle class I occlusion, and without any signs and symptoms of periodontal disease or TMJ disorder. @ The subjects were instructed to practice the mandiblepositions in centric occlusion, lateral excursion and protusion. After the subjects were familiar with the positions , the mixed Ramitec was placed into each subject mouth and recording the occlusal cntacts in the centric and ecentric jaw positions. Another, the recording of centric and eccentric occlusion for all subjects by T-Scan, the methods were according to the instruction of time-analysis mode of T- Scan. The sensor was placed between the upper and lowere dentition of subject, the centric occlusion and eccentric occlsion of each subject were recorded. @ In theis study, the occlusal detecting accuracy of T-Scan can be reached over 70% in centric occlussion and above 98% in eccentric occlusion compair with conventionanl recording materials. If the thickness and sensitivity could be slightly improved, T-San may be as an practial instrutment for occlusal examination and diagnosis.
