碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 建築及都市計畫研究所 === 81 === In this research , systematic analysis has been focused on the factors which affect optimal floor space of regional shopping center , such as the setting of the goals of management , the analysis of minimal area limit in landuse , space quantity , building types and floor space allocation, traffic contol,cost contol and benefit. Decision of optimal floor space are made on the conside- ration of users , developers , the standard of physical facilities and plan characteristics. According to them , five goals of the cost control , benefit , floor spaces needed,open spacesand the traffic control are considered in goal programming model after the relationships among variables have been established. The result will be ob- tained through the model and will be used as a reference for planners and decision-makers. Finnally , using the goal programming model in Tai- chung regional shopping center further prove it''s app- licability.
