Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 工程技術研究所 === 80 === In the works of Duncan, Goel, Gibra, Chiu and Montgomery, economic control chart models typically assumes that the time to occurance of an assignable cause follows an exponential distribution.Under such a assumption, these papers discuss economic control chart designs to decide expected loss-cost per hour of operation in a production cycle. According to Mcwilliams[3],this paper extends that assumption to the general distribution and investigates in general the impact on economic control chart parameters (i.e Sample Size, Sampling Interval and control limit factor) and hourly costs, of the distributional assumption. It is found that the economic design is quit insensitive to the assumed distribution.
