From the methanol extract of the stem of Green Bamboo (Oldham Bamboo), Bambusa oldhamii Munro, the following compounds were isolated and characterized by using the chromatography and spectroscopic methods, The compounds are listed as below:

The compound 1,8-dihydroxy-3-methoxy-6-methylanthraquinone was never separated from the stem of Bamboo as far as we care
