The purpose of the thesis is to explore the application of goal programming in inventory control. Furthermore, it is based on the premise of converting the traditional concept & method of inventory control for enterprises to enhance the ability for the accomplishment of their objectives.
The main points of contents as following:
a The basic theory of inventory control.
b The general concept of goal programming.
c The research of goal programming in inventory control model.
d Case study in model feasibility.
First of all, the thesis introduces the theory of inventory control and goal progamming. According to different cases, there are some models of goal programming in inventory control being constructed.
