The Mossbauer spectra of tin compounds of analytical chemical interest, namely, six organic compounds (stannic oxinate, oxinate - 5 - sulfonic acid, □ - hydroxyquinaldate, cupferrate, tannate, and benzoate) and too inorganic compounds (stannic selenite and ferrocyanide) have been studied at liquid oxygen temperature. A shift in the resonant absorption frequency occurs when Sn - 119 nuclei are situated in different chemical environments. It seems stannic benzoate showed a nuclear quadrupole interaction splitting. The corrdination number of each compound was deduced from Herber's point of view. In addition, electron density at the tin nucleus, □2 (O)2 was also estimated by using Hartree - Fock's self - consistent - field atomic calculations. In order to ensure that the chelating ring formed in most of the compounds here, infrared spectra were also taken and interpreted.
