The words and phrases are excerpts from conversations with peers, professors and visiting artists. \n The materials that I employ are limited to wood, paper, graphite, white paint, and acrylic medium. Layering allows for investigation of frustration, anger, humor and rebellion. These emotions arise from the contradicting expectations I find myself contemplating.
