The composite is thereby characterized for electrochemical energy storage applications. Graphene-based polymers are widely being researched as high-performance electrode materials for supercapacitor and battery applications due to their unique properties such as high current density, high thermal conductivity and excellent mechanical behavior. PI/PDMS is a copolymer that combines the high thermal stability and chemical resistance of PI with excellent flexibility and hydrophobicity of PDMS.
