Architecture urban renewal over the rhine The role of time in the city is additive and revelatory. As time adds age and documentary value to the material of the city, time also reveals the autonomy of the city. In the case of the historic district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio the experiential condition today is that of an organized space in ruin condition, here dubbed the spatial ruin.
