Chemistry Despite the constant development of new antibiotics, difficulties are encountered almost immediately through the development of antibiotic resistance. Researchers must constantly work to develop new antibiotics, while diversifying old antibiotic structures in order to avoid a global crisis caused by the generation of multidrug resistant organisms.
