The findings are analyzed, synthesized and used towards the ends of enhancing the learning experiences of students in practice-based fields, in this case, visual communication design. The study explored how CoPs form and function, the benefits of CoP towards enhancing the learning experience, the implementation of CoPs inside classrooms, and how teaching and learning are enhanced by incorporating CoPs in classrooms.Co-design was used to explore how the findings can be applied inside a variety of classrooms to build an intentional Community of Practice in University level education settings.
