This study examines the extent to which a lottery-type incentive, offered to the respondent without the requirement to participate will increase the response rate. The lottery incentive resulted in a slightly higher response rate; the difference, however, was not statistically significant. Nonetheless, the cost of the incentive, $100, is a relatively inexpensive price for an additional 36 completed questionnaires, which translates into an additional 72 questionnaires across the entire population.
