Lee Cutler, Elizabeth Ann <p>The battle between the pursuit of scientific knowledge and religious philosophy is a universal, age-old battle. Throughout time, mankind's art has depicted a fascination with the moon, stars, and other celestial entities, referenced throughout the script. During the Renaissance, previously accepted theories began to unravel, leading Nicolaus Copernicus and his predecessors into a dangerous waltz with the Catholic Church.</p><p>With these events in mind, I designed the scenery for <i>Inherit the Wind</i> by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E.
