Education hope qualitative urban school psychology This study represents the perceptions of three Ohio State University master’s level school psychology graduate students while serving their internship training year in an urban school district. Specifically, these case studies focused on the exploration of these students’ levels of hope as they trained in the more challenging environment of the urban school. This exploration was then linked to the students’ sense of commitment to the urban school as a work environment for the long-term, and necessarily describes the graduate training preparation and support they received in developing work-related levels of hopeful thinking.
