Different streams demonstrate different rates of methylmercury production and bioaccumulation from mercury pollution. This thesis compares the physical attributes of streams and watersheds to these rates. Results show that mercury methylation does relate to physical characteristics, but the nature of the relationship cannot be ascertained at this time. 2012-09-11 English text Ohio University / OhioLINK http://rave.ohiolink.edu/etdc/view?acc_num=ohiou1340125133 http://rave.ohiolink.edu/etdc/view?acc_num=ohiou1340125133 unrestricted This thesis or dissertation is protected by copyright: all rights reserved.
