Additionally, I reflect on how the experience has influenced and affirmed my desire to pursue a career in medicine. The remarkable thing about the medical world is that it is a realm of constant learning, discovery, and innovation all set in motion for one purpose: to take advantage of the altruistic opportunities to help those in need. These are the principles that drew me to health care: values that have been reinforced during my time spent in the hospital.
