The system utilizes two stainless steel pressure generators connected to gearheads. Stepper motors are connected to the gearheads and are used to provide constant fluid flow throughout the system. We communicate with both motors through a hub, such that we can monitor the internal pressure of the system with a pressure gauge. Fluorescence has been used to detect changes in emission spectra between the different fluids in the reservoirs.
