Linear model and spectral decomposition model were developed to calculate fraction-unfolded values of NADH in different methanol concentrations. An optical sectioning system using a structured illumination setup based on previous literature was built for use with a wide-field microscope. The sectioning ability of the system was shown in slide and capillary mounted paper fibers. The illumination setup was also used to a acquire sectioned images by varying the z-axis coordinates and building a 3D image of the slide mounted paper fibers, and used to show a comparison between the conventional and sectioned 3D image. 2009-08-02 English text Miami University / OhioLINK http://rave.ohiolink.edu/etdc/view?acc_num=miami1249225952 http://rave.ohiolink.edu/etdc/view?acc_num=miami1249225952 unrestricted This thesis or dissertation is protected by copyright: all rights reserved.
