The indicators used in this analysis are the Family Satisfaction Survey, the Ohio Department of Health survey for certification, and the Minimum Data Set (MDS). Only facilities that had taken part in the Family Satisfaction Survey were included for analysis. Correlations, one-way analysis for variance, t-tests, and multiple regression analyses were used to determine if differences did exist between facilities based on their structural variables in regard to outcomes on these various quality indicators. There were no clear conclusions as to whether a single structural variable could predict good or bad scores on the three outcome measures. However, there were indications, especially in regard to the Family Satisfaction Survey, that structural variables do create significant differences in the outcomes. 2009-04-28 English text Miami University / OhioLINK http://rave.ohiolink.edu/etdc/view?acc_num=miami1240854315 http://rave.ohiolink.edu/etdc/view?acc_num=miami1240854315 unrestricted This thesis or dissertation is protected by copyright: all rights reserved.
