This internship focused on soil and water conservation through sediment anderosion control, stormwater management, public involvement, and GeographicInformation Systems mapping. Ohio and Warren County sediment and erosion controlregulations are discussed along with the regulation and implementation of bestmanagement practices (BMPs) on construction sites. Stormwater management methodssuch as rain gardens and stormwater basins are described. Public involvement is detailedin outreach and education activities.
