A quantitative study was designed for college students within a mid-western university. Results of the present study show that the perceptions about the landscape from people can have some gender differences, and tourism is a pursuing and fulfilling process for the tourists about their personality and self-identity. The study also indicates that a tourist attraction can not only be a place for sightseeing, but also a place that builds up and cohesive to a person’s aesthetic self-identity (emotional/rational features and sexual attractiveness).
