Retinylamine is a promising visual cycle inhibitor in treating dry AMD. As a vitamin A derivative, retinylamine solves the problem of blood-ocular barrier, however, its instability and toxicity both limit its application in AMD treatment. Polylactic acid (PLA) is widely used biodegradable polymer material for drug-loading implant.
