The company’s flagship product is set to be launched in the second fiscal quarter of 2013 and, having undergone a strategic hiring spree following a venture funding round in early 2012, the company is rapidly progressing with its complementary (and perhaps more important) second product. Unfortunately, optimism for the flagship launch is somewhat lacking, due in part to issues with an integral partner. The company must therefore reassess its partnership strategy, informed by the hindsight of the partnership, the knowledge gained by incipient efforts at gaining true customer insight, and the vision for the future of the company’s technology.
