Findings suggested no significant differences of providers' reports of perceived agency recovery-orientation, personal growth, or reported job satisfaction as a function of the professional role of mental health providers or the mental health agency in which they worked. Findings in the present research study suggested that the provider-consumer relationship variables of working alliance and benevolent coercion techniques are the strongest predictors of perceived agency recovery-orientation, personal growth, and job satisfaction. Specifically, these effects emerged when controlling for providers' individual demographic characteristics (e.g., age, gender) and perceived job demand characteristics (e.g., caseload size). Implications of study findings for research and clinical practice are discussed. 2012-12-20 English text Bowling Green State University / OhioLINK http://rave.ohiolink.edu/etdc/view?acc_num=bgsu1355872551 http://rave.ohiolink.edu/etdc/view?acc_num=bgsu1355872551 unrestricted This thesis or dissertation is protected by copyright: all rights reserved.
