Mathematics Symmetric group Fayers Young Diagrams In this thesis, we study certain combinatorial questions about partitions motivated by issues in the representation theory of the symmetric group. In particular, we will study the class of the 3-semiFayers partitions and their behavior with respect to 3-regularization.
