Summary: | As one of the three passive components in the electronic components industry, inductors account for 10% ~ 15% of the supporting consumption of electronic components and play an extremely important role in the electronic industry. Inductors are mainly used to screen signals, filter noise, stabilize current and suppress electromagnetic interference (EMI). A great deal of research was actualized to realize high inductance density, low resistance and high Q factor. The prospect
of inductor industry indicates that inductors can be divided into plug-in inductors and chip inductors. Chip inductors can be divided into four categories: laminated inductors, wound inductors, woven inductors and film inductors. Laminated inductors and wound inductors are the two most commonly used types of chip inductors. Ferrite inductor is a special form of inductor, which has the general characteristics similar to inductor, but also has its own special characteristics. The special
characteristics of ferrite inductance depend on the material composition of ferrite core. With the development of high frequency switching power supply technology, the design of medium and small power high frequency (10-30kHz) inductor with ferrite core material becomes more and more common. The purpose of this thesis is designing, manufacturing and testing solenoid magnetic inductors with ferrite/Insulator film on print circuit board (PCB). The research work mainly contains three
stepss which are outlined below. First, study the characteristics of magnetic material and film preparation technology. Acknowledging related parameters of power inductor can ensure the analysis of influence on inductance enhancement. Second, try three methods to manufacture inductors and set up the best fabrication way. Last step is testing sample by groups, analyzing experiment graph and data,optimizing sample and manufacturing the power inductor with the greatest inductance
enhancement.
