All three institutions have completed their search processes and hired a president sometime between 2014 and 2016. To understand the hiring processes of the three colleges, and the importance of making a good faith effort in the outreach and recruitment of women and minority candidates for the position of president, a document analysis of materials related to their presidential search processes, recommendations and advice from reputable search organizations, and the presidential search processes of other community college systems, was done. Manuals, organizational recommendations, timelines, and meeting minutes were reviewed.
