It is a chronology of the work. The projects are illustrated and the most significant features of each are noted. The analytical principles and rough taxonomy outlined in the course of their use in the discourse will serve further investigation of the architect's work. The purpose of the work is to bring documentary evidence related to Scharoun's work, to the contemporary social history, and to the nature of practice under the conditions particular to this period into a form convenient to support further research.
