Cataloged from student-submitted PDF version of thesis. Includes bibliographical references (pages 53-54). Despite numerous studies on the benefits of immersive education, it has been difficult to implement in practice. The advent of virtual reality (VR) has allowed people to have immersive and interactive experiences in a safe and relatively cost-effective way. These qualities make VR a good candidate for use in education. We have developed a VR platform to help students learn concepts in electromagnetics. Within this platform, I have developed a tool that allows students to see the trajectory of an object and use it to manipulate its state in time. We believe that this tool provides a new and effective way for students to learn in virtual reality. by Misha Nasir Jamy. M.
