To name a few of the more dominant: the role of the provincial government and the demands of a new economic society; a solution for questions of morals such as temperance; the demand by farming and urban wage-earners for a greater voice in government, and the place of Eastern and Central European immigrants in a community dominated by the Anglo-Saxon.
