The practical instructional and pedagogical guidelines suggested in this thesis have the ability to help ESL teachers avoid certain difficulties and dangers that come with teaching about genocide and human rights education. It is hoped that this type of framework will help second language educators organize their thinking and facilitate links to human rights education through the use of sensitive materials in the ESL classroom. All items in eScholarship@McGill are protected by copyright with all rights reserved unless otherwise indicated.Master of Arts (Department of Integrated Studies in Education) http://digitool.Library.McGill.CA:80/R/?func=dbin-jump-full&object_id=95093
