[SH96] presents a resource conscious design method to systematically generate these attributes so that the task deadlines and the system end-to-end constraints are met. Using this method and the Rate Monotonic scheduling algorithm, I developed a tool that calculates the response time of each task of the system and a per-constraint heuristic parameter called "gain".
