The purpose of the present work is an investigation of the problems associated with the synthesis and structure of the 2-nitraminothiazoles containing electronegative substituents. Three aspects are under consideration here; first, to study the methods by which the 2-aminothiazolecarboxylic acids may undergo mono- and di-nitration. |
