Reaction products of applied orthophosphates in some Manitoba soils as affected by soil calcium and magnesium content and time of incubation
Four soils, varying in calcium and magnesium content, were treated with KH2PO4 or K2HPO4 pellets. Crystalline phosphate reaction products were identified by means of X-ray diffraction analysis over a period of 450 days. The addition of KH2PO4 resulted in the formation of DCPD in all four soils....
