The survey data allowed us to establish and evaluate the features of personnel strategy creation and implementation and the positive and negative aspects of strategical management of the personnel in small and middle-sized business companies. The empirical research evaluated the main functions of management, established the most often problems related to planning, organization, motivation and control, reasons for that and some possible ways of problem solution for improvement of strategic management of the personnel in small and middle-sized business companies.
