=== The severity of breast cancer in mongrel animals is not defined yet in its clinical, biochemical and cytological associative aspects. With the aim to establish that characterization we studied 30 bitches, 5-16 years old, mixed breed bitches attended at this universitary ambulatory in compliance with current ethical and pathological rules. The animals were alloted according to their body size in groups small (Gs), medium (Gm) and large (Gl) with 10 animals each. After physical examination and lifestyle records, the blood sample was taken for plasma analysis of albumin (alb), glucose (gluc), total cholesterol (chol), alpha-tocopherol (vit.E) and malondialdehyde (MDA) levels. The tumor nodules were evaluated macro-and-microscopically, the later through fine needle aspiration sampling. From these data the animals were classified as predominantly 6-10 years old (57%), obese (83%), presenting carcinoma (CA) oftenly (57%) than complex tumor type (MT=43%), prevalently on clinical stage (TNMc) IIA - IIIB (50%). Half of the animals were nulliparus, showing pseudopregnancies (47%), having multicentric nodules (57%) sizing less than two cm diameter, located inguinally (63%) in both side mammary chains. The most found plasma changes were hypovinaminosis E (70%), high MDA (47%), low alb and low chol (37%), low gluc (27%) and either high chol or high gluc (20%). Additionally the bitch bearing carcinoma were (p<0,05) predominantly, nulliparus (80%), pseudopregnant (64%), obese (43%) showing more prevalence of high MDA (43%), low vit E (48%), high gluc (83%) and low alb (36%) than the mixed tumor animals. The association of tumors worsened the (hypo) glucemic and (hypo) albuminemic status of the patients. Half of CA, 75% of MT and 60% of associated tumor (CA+MT) were at the clinical stage (TNMc) IIA-IIIB, whose main statistical differences from the severer stage IV were obesity (82%), high gluc (83%)...
