Previous issue date: 2013 === === Abstract: This study aimed to examine the inclusion of Persons with Disabilities - PwD within the workforce of employees of Federal University of Santa Catarina, seeking to assess the working conditions offered and interrelationships of PwD with other servers. In the literature review addressed to relevant aspects of the inclusion policy, chronologically and historically situating the advances in Brazil and the world, and to discuss management issues that related directly to human resources policy and their new values and parameters, focusing the concept of social responsibility. This concept originated in the transformation of the economy, advances in the dissemination of information, and changes in the values of society, making the institutions had to adapt to new times, seeking to meet and collaborate with social expectations. The research methodology used was qualitative questionnaires, which sought to collect data and information regarding the perceptions and opinions on the aspect of adding servers PwD. The research showed advances in integration server PwD in the staff but also the existence of deficiencies relating to the context of accessibility in the campus and the facilities, it was also possible to identify weaknesses in the actions of the inclusion process, both from the point of view of the relationship workforce and more specifically on the changes proposed by the multidisciplinary team.
